Description: Food grade phosphoric acid is produced through thermal process (elemental phosphorus combustion) or wet process (phosphate rock acidulation with purification), serving as an acidulant (E338) and pH regulator in cola beverages (0.05-0.1%), cheese processing, and sugar refining. The thermal process achieves higher purity (>85% P₂O₅) with lower heavy metals (<1ppm As/Pb) compared to wet process, meeting FCC/USP/EP standards for food contact.
